Christmas Party 2012

In an attempt to catch up (a bit) on blogging, I wanted to make sure and document the 6th or 7th? annual Christmas Party we had this past weekend with dear friends!  A tradition that started out I think at the Rives apartment years ago, annually proves to be one of my favorite Christmas celebrations.  *All of these pictures are courtesy of mindyrives.blogspot.com!



Our group has changed significantly through the years.  In addition to transitions in life stages, jobs etc. each year we now also find childcare for our 7 babies who were not here when this tradition began!

This year we enjoyed a delicious meal of chicken, roasted veggies, mashed potatoes, brownies, ice cream and "adult" milkshakes.  All courtesy of the wonderful hosts BJ and Karen.  As we ate we all took part in our annual (and of course my favorite) tradition of answering one "Christmas question" around the table and afterwards we had fun exchanging gifts.

Marina gave me a White Rock Coffee gift card (mmm :)) and a necklace with Jordan and my initials and Larkin's name and birthstone.  So sweet!

I'm so thankful for these friends.  They've been SUCH a blessing to me and Jordan (and Larkin) over the past 7+ years.  It wouldn't be a Christmas without this special night!
